Picking the right attire for a wedding ceremony can be tricky especially if there is no dress code for the event. It is possible that you have a dress that suits the occasion already, but here are some guidelines to help you:

Informal daytime ceremony

A wedding of this nature requires a skirt and top or a sundress. Since it is an informal gathering, you don’t have to wear heels. Flat sandals or regular flat will do the trick. Although this depends largely on the weather.

Informal evening ceremony

This type of wedding requires a dress. However, you have lots of flexibility like the daytime wedding, the dress can be a romantic maxi dress, and you can wear flat shoes or low heels.

Semi-formal daytime ceremony

This type of wedding requires more serious attire. You can opt for a short cocktail dress with sandals or heels. You can also wear a blouse with an embellished skirt or a formal jumpsuit.

Semi-formal evening ceremony

This wedding is similar to the type mentioned above. The only difference is the more formal dressing. You can choose to wear a similar attire to both ceremonies. A cocktail dress with high heels will look amazing. You can add some accessories to make it more formal.
