If you have fine or thin hair, good hair days can be few and far between. When not treated correctly, your hair can look ratty, flat, and lifeless. Luckily, we have some tricks to help you avoid those bad hair days forever.

Always use dry shampoo

Even if you’ve washed your hair, use dry shampoo as well. It’s magical stuff for oily hair, adding a bit of texture to your hair and increasing the longevity of styles.

After your hot styling implement, spray the length of the hair (not the roots) with dry shampoo to boost volume.

Exfoliate your scalp

If you’re using dry shampoo, ensure that you exfoliate your scalp once or twice a week. Use a scalp scrub or clarifying shampoo to remove product build-up and dead cells. Don’t exfoliate too much or your hair will become oilier.

Color your hair

If you have fine or thin hair, having it colored will change the texture of your hair to make it feel and appear thicker. It will also hold a style better. You could even have your hair bleached and re-colored your original color for extra texture and volume.
