It’s Time to Celebrate Being Single

“Lose You to Love Me” seem to be the Hollywood anthem for many single female stars. Emma Watson, Lizzo, Selena Gomez, and Ariana Grande are just some of the stars enjoying the freedom of being single. A new trend has been emerging being “single-positive” and it’s all about finding other ways to create happiness besides love. Trust us, we get it. Being single can be challenging especially when you are close to 30 and all your besties seem to be partnered off with kids on the way.

Why is Being Single Awesome?

When your single you have time to learn new things about yourself, to spend time with friends, and you can work on becoming the best version of yourself. We think Carrie Bradshaw said it best in Sex and the City, “Being single used to mean that nobody wanted you. Now it means you’re pretty sexy and you’re taking your time deciding how you want your life to be and who you want to spend it with.”

Let’s take a note out of their book when it comes to being single; we should celebrate it and self-love is the best kind of love you can give.
