Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Butter – softened on room temperature
  • 1 ½ Cup Granulated White Sugar
  • 3 Cups Flour
  • ½ tsp Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp Baking Soda
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • Pinch of Salt

The Preparation

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Then, in a medium bowl mix together the butter and the white granulated sugar. When the mixture gets creamy, add the eggs and give it another good mix. After that add the vanilla extract.

In another bowl, add and mix all the dry ingredients: the flour, the baking powder, the baking soda and the salt. Pour it into the first bowl and mix it all together with a hand mixer.

Put the dough into the fridge, and let it sit for about an hour.

When the dough is ready, flatten it, and use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out the shapes. Bake the cookies at 375 degrees for about 8 minutes.

Decorate them as desired.
