A dress shape that works for every body type

Women come in all shapes and sizes, each radiating in their own beautiful way. It may seem outlandish to suggest that there would be one dress that fits all, but there is.

And who else is there to deliver such a dress but Christian Dior and Yves Saint Laurent?

In the Spring collection of 1955, Dior introduced the first iteration of the A-line dress. Three years later, it would be Laurent who slightly improved on the dress to produce the A-line, as we know it today.

This dress is basically one which fits snuggly on the waist and then it goes on to flare slightly as it makes its way down.

This artfully designed dress accentuates the small waist of the curvier women, while it also produces flatteringly larger hips on those women who have slimmer physiques.

It can even be worn by pregnant women who are in search of a dress that flatters their figure without being constricting.

When it comes to the skirt of this dress, the sky is the limit – or rather the floor. The skirt can be tailored to literally any length, depending on the preference of the wearer. This item is undoubtedly a must in every woman’s wardrobe.
