This year’s awards season has given us several epic red carpet trends and we’re always in the mood to discover new ones. Hollywood superstars attending this year’s BAFTA Awards looked truly radiant and introduced us to several amazing new red carpet trends.

Just Add Gloves

Dramatic opera gloves can elevate pretty much any look and Kate Middleton, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Sheila Atim seem to live by this fashion rule, judging by their BAFTAs outfits.

Purple Gowns

Different shades of purple and lilac have taken over the red carpet at this year’s BAFTAs, and Viola Davis, Jodie Turner-Smith, Angela Bassett, and Aimee Lou Wood were only some of the stars wearing this color.

Paint It White

Several stars attending BAFTAs look positively bridal in their white dresses, including Lily James and Naomi Ackie. Some others made their white outfits pop by adding black to the mix, including Kate Middleton, Hayley Atwell, and Vera Wang.

Capes Everywhere

Several celebrities embraced their inner superhero by wearing caped dresses at this award ceremony, starting with Anya Taylor-Joy, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Lashana Lynch, and Viola Davis.

Feathers & Ruffles

Several stars ruffled some feathers with their fashion choices at the BAFTAs. Julianne Moore, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Leonie Hanne were wearing feathers, while Florence Pugh gave ruffles her seal of approval.
